FAQ about the hetech group.
Clear. Concise. Relevant.

Here you will find quick answers to the most important questions about our company, our solutions and our service.

hetech develops and implements integrated production solutions for the industrial processing of particle foams such as EPS, EPP, E-TPU, EPE, rEPS, and many more. The aim is to combine individual process steps into a stable, efficient overall process. Thanks to our own laboratory capacities, close cooperation and proximity to processing companies, hetech machines are continuously being further developed and process know-how systematically expanded.

hetech does not see itself as a pure machine supplier, but rather as a system partner for complete production lines. From initial consultation and concept development to planning, integration, commissioning, and after-sales service, hetech accompanies every step of the process. The focus is on consistent material flows, stable processes, and long-term efficiency.

hetech solutions are suitable wherever components need to be lightweight, products need to be protected, and buildings need to be insulated. Typical areas of application include the automotive industry, packaging applications, the construction industry, and technical molded parts.

Basic principles &

positioning

hetech group is the joint brand of HIRSCH Technology and Erlenbach Maschinen. By combining both companies’ technological expertise, a global provider of integrated solutions for the particle foam industry has been created. The aim is to bring together mechanical engineering, automation, and process knowledge under a clear technological focus.

The merge of the two brands combines expertise and creates synergies. The integration enables a stronger technological focus, more efficient development processes, and an expanded portfolio of solutions. Customers benefit from coordinated technologies and a clear structure within the group.

Existing contacts and familiar structures will remain in place. At the same time, the joint brand will create an expanded technology portfolio with bundled expertise in the areas of mechanical engineering, automation, and production and process solutions.

The existing technologies complement each other within the new brand structure. Machines, molds, automation solutions and process concepts are systematically coordinated with each other. This results in a broader and at the same time integrated range of solutions for particle foam processing.

Brand structure &

origins of hetech

A production line includes material supply, preexpanding, molded part or block mold production, automated product removal, post-processing, and further internal logistics. The goal is a consistent, stable process with coordinated interfaces between raw materials, machines, tools, and automation.

Among other things, material transport, mold feeding, component removal, quality control, and packaging and transfer processes can be automated. Integrating these steps results in consistent processes and fewer manual interventions.

The optimal interaction between material, machine, mold and downstream removal is crucial for short cycle times. When these elements are precisely coordinated, downtime can be minimized and overall equipment efficiency significantly increased.

A structured material flow prevents bottlenecks and ensures reproducible process conditions. Material handling is therefore a key driver of quality, throughput, and process stability.

Technology &

Production Processes

Automated processes reduce manual tasks, stabilize processes, and minimize waste. This lowers unit costs and improves the predictability of production in the long term.

Automation is particularly worthwhile for medium and high quantities as well as for continuous series production. Short cycle times, stable quality and reduced downtime lead to a quick return on investment.

Existing lines can often be extended step by step – for example, with additional handling systems, optimized material flows, or new interfaces. This allows existing investments to be utilized while simultaneously leveraging efficiency potential.

Stable process parameters, aligned cycle times, a consistent material flow, well-designed mold technology, and intuitive operation of the systems are crucial.

Efficiency &

economic efficiency

Due to its close technical relationship with the manufacturing companies of the HIRSCH Servo Group, hetech receives practical feedback on processes, material behavior, and plant technology. Optimization potential is analyzed in a structured manner and specifically integrated into the further development of production and automation solutions.

The continuous exchange of information on technological issues relating to particle foam processing – from materials and mold technology to the coordinated interaction of machines, automation and downstream logistics – feeds directly into the development of new and improved hetech products.

Improvements are systematically recorded and implemented. There is no exchange of sensitive market or customer data, nor is any external market information transferred.

Cooperation within the group enables close integration of mechanical engineering, automation, and industrial applications. Customers benefit from proven technologies under real production conditions, short feedback loops and continuous process optimization.

The combination of practical processing experience and technological development work results in robust, scalable production solutions with high process stability and long-term investment security.

Cooperation

in the HIRSCH environment

Sustainability begins with stable processes. Efficient concepts involve short transport routes within production, requirements-based material provision, low waste and optimized storage. This reduces energy consumption, material losses and unnecessary intermediate storage.

Energy-efficient systems, optimized cycle times, and reduced downtime lower energy consumption per component. Coordinated overall lines enable savings potential to be systematically realized.

Recycling plants enable the processing of production residues and used particle foam materials. Processed recycled materials can be fed back into the production process. This reduces the demand for raw materials, generates less waste, and supports closed material cycles.

hetech systems are designed for long-term use and are characterized by their robust, durable construction. Targeted retrofit solutions can be used to modernize existing systems, optimize their energy efficiency and adapt them to new production requirements.

Typical measures include the retrofitting of automation and control components. This conserves resources, secures investments and significantly extends the service life of the systems.

Retrofit solutions thus actively contribute to sustainability, as existing systems can continue to be used while at the same time being brought up to the current state of the art.
